viewpoint in Clare, Ireland
Bridges of Ross
A lone surviving natural sea arch on the Loop Head Peninsula, and one of Ireland's best-known spots for watching seabirds and whales pass offshore.
Worth the wander
The Bridges of Ross are natural sea arches on the Loop Head Peninsula; originally there were three, but two have collapsed into the sea over time, leaving one remaining 'bridge'. A short path leads from the car park to the cliff edge, and the site is a noted location for seabird and cetacean watching.
