Worth the wander

Geokaun Mountain (266 m) is the highest point on Valentia Island, County Kerry; on its northern face the Fogher Cliffs plunge 180 m to the sea. The privately run access road leads through several car parks to viewing areas with information plaques overlooking the Skellig Islands, Dingle Peninsula, Blasket Islands and the MacGillycuddy's Reeks.
