Glandore (Cuan Dór, 'harbour of the oak trees') is a small West Cork village overlooking a sheltered harbour guarded by two islets, Adam and Eve; a 19th-century stone pier gives views across to Union Hall, and seals are regularly seen on the rocks at the harbour mouth.
